First two weeks of Fiji clinics complete - Everything from waterstarts to forward loops covered. All particpants are back in New Zealand showing there skills. Thanks to everyone that took part!

The weather's been great and the sea breezes are up. Bookings are essential at the moment. It's a la nina summer which means heaps of winds from the north east remember if the sea breezes aren't strong enough at the other spots - The
harbour off Pt chev will often have 2 or 3kts of wind even though the webcam will be reading low.. Sorry locals the secrets out!

During June/July/August the school will work around the wind - Lessons can be booked for anyday by email ph or txt. Casual lessons/rent will continue during suitable conditions regardless of day. Check home page for opening hours or get in touch

I'll be running a series of clinics covering all the essentials from planing techniques to carve gybing over the winter. These will be low priced laid back sessions aimed to improve your sailing regardless of your current skill
level.

The school will continue to operate from Wednesday through Sunday.
Winds can be strong but are less consistent during this time - If the wind blows strong easterly, I 'll run more advanced lessons from other beaches as Pt Chev is not sailable in this direction. If you want to get into wave sailing or learn some
high level techniques - let me know!

03/04/09 Vulcan Clinic
Due to demand I'll be running a learn to vulcan clinic over the autumn.
This will be a three part course starting on 16th May 12.00
Each session will be two hours priced at $60 or pre pay $160 for the whole course - to participate you'll need to be sailing a modern freeride/freestyle/wave board of less than 120l vol. You should be able to carve gybe and chop hop in flattish
water.

All theory and exercises completed - Session 3 will now run on a windy weekend at Orewa or Takapuna. All students will be informed by text on thursday prior - This will be the big one as students attempt their first forward loops!

Raymond Street reserve has been improved over the winter. the car park has been re-surfaced, boat ramp widened and extra grass areas and seating have been added. There's even a toilet block with changing room and shower. This makes the area even
better for all sailing and windsurfing activities
